This means that the process of hair loss and growth goes on continuously. A healthy diet and proper care of the hair can prevent hair fall and help in hair growth.

Some home remedies can also be used to reduce or stop hair fall completely. Today we are telling you about some such home remedies which are tried and most effective in preventing hair fall.

Home remedies for hair fall


Zinc is a powerful anti-oxidant. It is perfect for hair growth. There is a problem of hair loss many times, even if zinc is deficient in the body.

Sprouted grains, whole grains, sesame seeds are the best sources of zinc. Apart from this, zinc supplements can also be used to make up for their deficiency in the body.


Sulfur plays a vital role in the formation of two natural amino acids, cysteine ​​and methionine. These acids are most beneficial for the health of hair, nails, and skin. Sulfur is found in abundance in ginger, eggs, meat, onions, fish, and seafood.

Mustard oil

Mustard oil has been commonly used for hair growth. This mustard oil rich in erucic acid is very good in increasing hair length, nourishing and growing new hair.

Nettle leaves

Nettle leaves, i.e., nettle leaves, are rich in essential nutrients needed for hair. Elements like vitamin B, magnesium, copper, zinc, sulfur, silica are found in abundance in them.

To use it, boil four teaspoons of nettle leaves in a liter of cold water and leave it to cool for 10 minutes. After this, filter it and massage the scalp with it twice a day.

Licorice root

This herb reduces hair fall and prevents further damage. It soothes the scalp and helps in removing dry scabs/dandruff. To make a paste from it:

  • Mix one teaspoon ground licorice root and one-third teaspoon saffron in a cup of milk.
  • Use it on your scalp and hair and leave it overnight.
  • Wash your hair the following day.
  • Use it twice a week.
