Change the small things and the big things with the following. Weight loss is easier if you change your lifestyle one habit at a time. Here are a few suggestions to start you off:

  1. Walk for ten (more) minutes every day
  2. Pull in your tummy muscles every time you have to stop when driving
  3. Replace a glass of soda (or juice or an alcoholic drink) with mineral water
  4. Leave something on your plate at each mealtime
  5. Cook with half the oil you normally would
  6. Replace your usual fattening snack with an apple
  7. Have a skinny latte or herbal tea instead of a regular latte
  8. Take your kids swimming once a week
  9. Iron, knit, or sew while you watch TV to avoid snacking
  10. Instead of half-filling your plate with fries, try a quarter salad, quarter fries
